Similar to the school year foreign language, except a summer length course to allow students credit recovery or extra review.  All foreign language courses and levels are offered during the summer. 

This is the first of our high school writing courses. It focuses on good grammar and strong sentence writing. All high school students should begin in this class regardless of grade level unless they have a strong gift in writing with proven success in classroom application.

The Giver is a gripping story that draws the reader into a unique world with disturbingly close echoes of our own. It asks deep and penetrating questions about how we live together in a society.

This class focuses on strong paragraph skills, modes of writing, myths, fables, fairytales, and the five-paragraph essay. It is a typical 10th grade skill level writing class.
